The European Championships in Emergency Medicine

The European Championships in Emergency Medicine will take place from 30 August to 4 September in Olsztyn. The Organizers of this event are: The Minister of Health, The Government of Warmia and Mazury Province and The Provincial Station of Emergency Medicine. About 50 teams from Europe and guests from other countries will participate in The Championships. Contestants and arbiters will be accommodated in the campus of University of Warmia and Mazury. The Championships will take place In Olsztyn: in the city centre and in the campus of University of Warmia and Mazury in Kortowo. During The Championships 6 medical and technical competitions will be held. Kortowo is a district of Olsztyn, which forms the university campus. All the main objects of the university are situated there. Kortowo is the biggest student campus in Poland and one of the most beautifully situated academic centres in Europe. It offers the students all the facilities they need: didactic buildings, modern laboratories, research and recreation sites, lecture halls, dormitories, shops, and clubs. The area is green and spatial. Kortowo is situated on 161 hectares on the edge of the city. It is surrounded by 95 hectares of forest and a lake with the access to the beach and water equipment rental.
